While I was never a student at this fine institution, my memories were jostled and brought back to living colour by this compilation of short stories of and about Munich and the 'American' college there. During my several years with AFRC, I had many an occasion to frequent the Campus and make 'friends' with the female students. Of the hundreds of stories, I am sure some of them were of events I was present at. In fact, I would bet my last bier on it!

While most of the stories are fun and delightful, there are some that make you understand why NATO existed and why there was such a big military occupation there. A must read if you ever got to the University of Maryland, Munich. Paul S. Lambres AFRC 73-76.
