**A Blast from the Past: The Famous Ass Shot of 1976!**
Hard to believe that our iconic photo from July 4, 1976, was taken 49 years ago as we celebrated America’s Bicentennial! Some of you might remember that lively gathering at my house in Bischofswiesen, while others may have forgotten the specifics—but what a memorable day it was!
As we celebrated our 200th birthday as a nation, a certain adventurous couple decided to have some fun on the mountainside. Someone humorously suggested we should “moon” them, and I handed my camera to Nicole (Harvey) Ehret, capturing that unforgettable moment.
Lisa Thompson, where are you now?
Next year marks America's 250th anniversary, which is hard to believe, considering it's almost 50 years since our memorable gathering!
